April Nicholle has been a performer since the age of three, singing solo on stage since the age of 10, and currently sings both solo and with the band, Cain & April.  Samples of her songs are available at www.myspace.com/nicholle and at www.myspace.com/cainandapril Her voice has been likened to Grace Slick, Alison Krauss, Stevie Nicks and Joni Mitchell. Her writing style ranges from lyrical and melodic to angst-driven rock, and her melodies range in flavor from Eastern European to Celtic to Americana ballads. She has released four CDs: a self-titled album currently out of print; her 2004 solo album, Soft Core; Cain &  April's acoustic EP, First Aid Songs; and Cain & April's new album, How It Caught Fire.
